every single time. it never fails.

i'm going to florida for a few days in march...in approximately 1.5 weeks, not like i'm counting.

and ALWAYS...AL...WAYS.....

i get pulled into the boss's office....and the speech...

"blah blah...important...blah...project....blah....next week"

NEXT WEEK?!?! no no, i won't be here...oh..

wait...so...

i have to stay until midnight every night to get it done? yeah, no problem.

no....problem.

this happened last year too...i book a cruise...a magical cruise that i saved every little penny/nickle/dime for...got jim to save too...save save save...months go by....

so close!!

a week before it?

project...important...next week...buhhhh.

i feel like i'm in the movie office space, except not as funny, and no red staplers. :(

i know, august of 2007 was the last one...yikes

here i am again. but this time it's to document something very exciting happening in my life.



if you know me and/or jim, you'll know that in january of 2006, jim held an all day event called "Ape Day", in which people were forced to watch EVERY planet of the apes movie ever made.


you know the ones, "you damn dirty apes!"

forgot it already? Well, here's a visual:

ok, so....needless to say, it was excrutiating. and no amount of spinach pumpernickle dip or white castle crave cases could have made me say otherwise.

but here we are, two years later.

and jim still wants to do another ape day.

"nobody will come" i say. "remember the last one? oh god! the horror!"

so halloween's only in 2 months...well...2 months and 30 days. but hey, jim is allowed to celebrate christmas starting in july, so screw you! i'm starting!!! jim is to christmas as i am to halloween. i love everything about it. the colors, the smells, the sounds, the ridiculous things you can only get away with during halloween. i mean, come on, who carves faces into watermelons in the summer? nobody...i don't think. also, going into stores and buying fake cardboard tombstones...mmm..man oh man. give me that 99 cent bag of bugs. i'll take it. and put it in punch that is made with sprite and rainbow sherbet..oh god.

anyways, monster bash is coming soon. i hope you've all started picking out your costumes. we're getting a halloween store at the mall in 2 weeks, so come on down and let's go shopping!!! wooo!!!

why don't you allow photo comments? sometimes, i just want to comment jim with a picture of a pizza or pat morita. i don't understand why you won't allow this to happen for me. i mean, i sat here and updated this stupid google account just so that i can continue to comment jim to my heart's delight. i would just appreciate for you to keep up your end of the deal, and allow me to picture comment jim's blog.

the one on the right is my fifteen year old cat, pudgy.
they are the same size, and almost weigh the same.
pudgy doesn't like heart model.
